KATTUNESIA COMMUNITY, dreams to fly to Japan

Even rarely people know KAT-TUN*, a Japanese boyband, but they have solid and fanatic fans in Indonesia which is called KATTUNesia.

Maybe just few people know this Japan’s boyband which formed under Johnny & Associates management.  But KAT-TUN has huge number of fans spread around the world including Indonesia.

 The members of KAT-TUN fans online forum are thousands.  They live in several places in Indonesia which each place/city has their own community and chose leader called “Local Chief”

KATTUNesia was formed about 2 years ago on June 2007.  The members are of course KAT-TUN mania, for example Eva Lestari, the assistant manager in KATTUNesia.  Eva joined KATTUNesia since July 2007, she admit that she is crazy of KAT-TUN’s members.

“KAT-TUN has various kind of music. They can do rock, the member do beat box and rap, beside that they can do ballad and jazz too” said this 1^st year student of Bina Nusantara University Jakarta.  Eva also told that KAT-TUN had inspired her so that she chose Japanese major in her college.

Eva easily understands the songs sang by this famous group, just like the other members of KATTUNesia.  Eva said that KAT-TUN songs are mostly about love, but there’s also about friendship.  Just like her, Teresa Sandra, a writer, 27 years old woman, said that she loves KAT-TUN because they are multi talented.

“They are multi talented, they can sing, dance, modeling, and act.” If KAT-TUN made Eva chose Japanese literature in her study, then Sandra has different case. Sandra becomes familiar using Japanese language daily whenever she meets up with other KATTUNesia member or chats via internet.  They’ll use some Japanese words on chattings room.

This event was attended at least 85 members from Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi, Bandung, Surabaya and also Yogyakarta.  The theme was Care of KIZUNA, taken from KAT-TUN’s song “Care” and “Kizuna”.  Kizuna means bond.

Japan’s cultures fans.

KAT-TUN is taken from the name of each member. Kamenashi Kazuya, Akanishi Jin, Taguchi Junnosuke, Tanaka Koki, Ueda Tatsuya, and Nakamaru Yuichi.  They formed as the main back dancer on TV show called POPJAM in NHK.

Eva, Sandra, and Vita have the biggest dream. Their dream is watch KAT-TUN concert live by themselves.

Next month there will be big concerts in Tokyo Dome for 8 days.  Unfortunately, Vita thinks there is no opportunity to go to Japan this year.  She hopes next year she can meet KAT-TUN in person.  (Seputar Indonesia- sri noviani)
